Dr. Jones is a native of Anderson, SC. Dr. Jones graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia where she obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Health Promotion. She continued to the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. As part of her training, Dr. Jones completed internship rotations in the specialty areas of glaucoma, diabetes, pediatrics, specialty contact lens fitting, dry eye disease, and pre-cataract and post-operative care. After graduating from optometry school, she completed a residency in Ocular Disease at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. Dr. Jones is a member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and National Optometric Association. She is also member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, through which she actively volunteers in the local community. Dr. Jones resides in Atlanta with her husband, Michael, and their son. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and trying new restaurants around the city.
Dr. Javeya Clark is a native of Monroeville, Alabama. She graduated magma cum laude from Auburn University where she obtained a bachelor’s of science degree in biomedical sciences. She continued her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she received her doctorate of Optometry and graduated with honors receiving the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society Silver Medal and the Southern Council of Optometrist Clinical Excellence Award. As part of her clinical training, Dr. Clark completed internships at the Central Alabama Veterans Affairs Center and Georgia Eye Partners. Dr. Clark is excited to be joining the Atlanta Eye Group family. She finds so much joy in not only providing her patients with quality eye care but also creating a fun and positive experience for all! In her spare time, she enjoys working out, eating out with her husband, and chasing her two active toddlers.
Dr. Anisha Haji received her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University and has particular interests in ocular disease management and speciality contact lens fittings. She owns and operates Atlanta Eye Group, which partners with LensCrafters at five locations across the city. Atlanta Eye Group was voted Best in Georgia in 2021 and 2022 and was inducted into the Kennesaw Business Hall of Fame in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Her clinic in Kennesaw has won Best Optometry Office for the past four years straight. Dr. Haji is a strong advocate for the profession of Optometry in Georgia. She is currently the President of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association (GAOA), a Trustee of the Georgia Optometric Association (GOA), Chair of the GOA’s Corporate Committee and is also an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA). Outside of work, Dr. Haji is highly engaged in her family’s non-profit organization, Gillani Volunteer Association, which works to alleviate local poverty and hunger by delivering meals to the less fortunate, elderly, homebound, or ill. In her free time, she loves traveling, fine dining and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Dr. Cynthia Noorani grew up in Boynton Beach, FL. She attended Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Health and Wellness. After shadowing and working for her childhood optometrist as a technician, she developed her passion for optometry. She went on to pursue a dual degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry and Masters in Public Health in 2021. During her doctoral studies, Dr. Noorani kept various leadership roles at her school including founding the school’s first Contact Lens Club, President of the Gold Key International Honor Society, Vice President of the Private Practice Club and was a Student Ambassador for Bausch and Lomb. Dr. Noorani completed an Ocular Disease residency at Omni Eye Services here in Atlanta where she received advanced training in glaucoma, retinal, and corneal disease. Additionally, she was responsible in the post-operative care for cataract and glaucoma surgeries. She is board certified from the American Board of Optometry and will soon be a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is a proud member of the Georgia Optometric Association and currently serves as the Vice President of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. In her spare time, she loves to travel and go on scenic hikes.
Dr. Sonal Patel, was born in Gujarat, India. She moved to the United States at the age of two and was raised in Georgia. Her BS degree is from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and she attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee for her Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Patel prides herself on providing comprehensive eyecare to her patients of all ages, but in particular, she enjoys treating pediatric patients. She is a highly skilled doctor with a very warm personality that patients and staff truly enjoy. She currently lives in Johns Creek with her husband and 3 daughters. In her spare time, Dr. Patel is passionate about traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Jake Pucci is originally from Westerly, RI where he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Rhode Island in Biological Sciences. Dr. Pucci then completed a four year doctorate of optometry degree at New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.Post graduation Dr. Pucci was accepted to complete a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the Jamaica Plain Veterans Hospital in Boston, MA. During his residency Dr. Pucci gained extensive experience managing complex ocular disease including diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye. Additionally he is well trained in the fitting of contact lenses as well as the co-management of post op cataract and LASIK patients.Dr. Pucci moved from the northeast and has now been established in Atlanta for several years. Outside of work Dr. Pucci enjoys following the stock market, trying new wine and craft beers, and playing golf. Dr. Pucci is excited to have joined Atlanta Eye Group and looks forward to continuing to explore the Atlanta area!
Dr. Harris graduated from Kennesaw State University with honors where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She next received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Harris was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and is a current member of the Georgia Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. She completed rotations in a number of optometric settings with an emphasis on ocular disease and pre and post-operative management. In her spare time, she enjoys finding new restaurants around the city with her wife and hiking the north Georgia mountains with their dog, Millie.
