The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice.”… the choice is yours!
The cornerstone of our success lies in our commitment to advancing education through our comprehensive staff education program, aptly named PUPIL. This innovative initiative focuses on fostering a culture of continuous learning and development for our employees, including technicians and doctors, ensuring they maintain the highest standard of care.
We want to encourage you to learn and grow! We feel like every one of our team members has limitless potential. We're dedicated to helping provide continuing education for the skills you need to hone and the industry standards you need to uphold.
PUPIL encompasses multiple pillars of education, including the Certified Paraoptometric (CPO) certification, the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE) certification, and various other certifications for both doctors and staff. Alongside the PUPIL program, Atlanta Eye Group has introduced the Professional Development Series (PDS), a key element of our ongoing commitment to clinical excellence. PDS is a monthly initiative that brings together our doctors and certified Paraoptometrics for immersive hands-on training and continuing education.
Each session focuses on the latest advancements in eye care, including new technologies, lenses, and treatment protocols, with a particular emphasis on diagnosing and managing ocular and retinal diseases. Through practical wet labs, interactive workshops, and expert-led CE lectures, our team refines their skills to improve patient outcomes and integrate cutting-edge solutions into everyday practice.
The PDS also emphasizes professional responsibility and patient safety, equipping our staff with critical knowledge to navigate complex clinical scenarios while maintaining ethical standards. These sessions are designed to reduce risks, enhance decision-making, and ensure we provide the highest level of care to our patients.
Together, the PUPIL program and PDS support the continuous growth and development of our team, enabling Atlanta Eye Group to deliver exceptional, innovative care for every patient.
